Where to travel in Nepal after the post-pandemic?

Even though Nepal is fully open for travel and tour, you might be thinking about whether trekking is safe or not and which trek will be best?

Before we talk about our favorite trekking destinations in Nepal, we want you to know that trekking in Nepal is safe. The first thing is the mountain region of Nepal has barely seen a rise in Covid-19 cases because the region is sparsely populated and disconnected from the major cities. And, the second thing is we take several precautions in cities to make sure the safety of our team and the guests are not compromised in any way.

Below, we have mentioned our top 6 trekking destinations in Nepal for the post-pandemic trek. It is the best time to trek in the Himalayas because the crowded trail has also become peaceful thanks to fewer visitors.

Everest Base Camp Trek

Everest Base Camp Trek is undeniably the best trek in the world. And why not? The trek offers the astonishing beauty of the Himalayas, takes you across numerous 8,000 meters above mountains, explores the life and cultural heritage of legendary Sherpas and mountain people, and lets you see the abundant flora and fauna.

Everest Base Camp Trekking is recognized as the dream trekking destination of travel lovers. Now when the region is seeing a drastic drop of trekkers, you will have a very tranquil venture, which is so unlike Everest Base Camp Trek because of its popularity.

The trail is moderate and winds through the Sagarmatha National Park. There will be many streams, waterfalls, and suspension bridges along the Everest Base Camp Trek route. You will be trekking through picturesque villages and lush forests of rhododendron, oak, fir, pine, etc.

We think this is the ideal time to go on Everest Base Camp Trek, even if you have done it before, experience a new perspective of trekking to Everest Base Camp. You can get in touch with us anytime to book Everest Base Camp Trek.

Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the second most famous trekking route in Nepal that leads to the lap of Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m), the tenth highest mountain in the world. The trail is adventurous and beautiful. You will spend nights in fine villages like Ghorepani and Chomrong. Enjoy the sensational sunrise from the Poon Hill viewpoint and relax in the natural hot spring in Jhinu Danda while returning from the ABC.

The trek offers an intimate interaction with locals. People from various communities reside along the trail and trust us their hospitality is exceptional. Most part of the trail ascends through dense forests of rhododendron and remote settlement areas. The views of Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna, Mt. Hiunchuli, Mt. Nilgiri, etc are to die for. You can check more about Annapurna Base Camp Trek in our package information or talk to our representative and ask all your queries.

Mardi Himal Trek

Another famous and adventurous trek in the Annapurna region. Mardi Himal Trek is a newly opened trekking trail in the Himalayas. The moderate trekking route with a few off-beat sections, jaw-dropping unspoiled views, less-crowded trail, and waving vegetation has won the hearts of many travelers before the pandemic started. So, we cannot miss out on Mardi Himal Trekking from our favorite trekking list.

Mardi Himal Trek deserves all the hype, popularity, and love it got from both domestic and international tourists. As we mentioned, the trekking experience is amazing, and the locals along the trail are very friendly. Most of the trail goes through dense forests and later opens up to green meadows. It is relatively a short trekking route that anyone can do.

Moreover, Mardi Himal Trek is a perfect adventurous trekking alternative for the family venture. And with the support of our crew members, the journey will be smooth and safe. You can get in touch with us to know about the preparation needed before Mardi Himal Trekking.

Langtang Gosaikunda Trek

If you love those fairy tale sceneries, then Langtang Gosaikunda Trek is the one for you. The views this trek offers are out of the world. It will feel like you are in some kind of storybook that has a perfect mesmerizing landscape. From stunning glaciers to beautiful alpine lakes and lovely mountain villages, Langtang Gosaikunda Trekking offers an unforgettable venture in the Langtang region.

You will be trekking through the Langtang National Park, rich in flora and fauna. The trail has many cascading waterfalls, rushing rivers, dense forests, and thrilling suspension bridges. While passing through the remote villages, you can see the lifestyle of people from the Tamang and Sherpa communities. Likewise, the green meadows with yaks and mountain goats grazing add more charm to the views.

You will explore the ancient Kyanjin Gompa and ascend to the holy Gosainkunda Lake. Along with that, you will visit a local cheese factory and taste varieties of cheese products. If you love birds, then Langtang Gosaikunda Trek will be a blessing for you. Treks in the Langtang region are also famous for their guest house stay, so look forward to spending nights in locals' houses and know them closely.

Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek is one of the most adventurous and tough trekking trails in the Himalayas. The Manaslu Circuit Trek route is graded difficult to strenuous because of its off-beat paths, remoteness, and high elevation. This trek is excellent for adventure lovers who are looking for challenges and want to push themselves.

Manaslu Circuit Trek is a teahouse trek, therefore you have to be well prepared with all the necessities as well as mentally to endure the bare minimum facilities. Not to mention, this trek demands strong physical fitness and previous trekking experience.

Talking about the trail, most of it is trodden and involves many steep ascents & descents. You will be trekking through Manaslu Conservation Area, relishing unblemished nature, high snow-capped mountains, and diverse vegetation. The villages along the route are excellent and so do the locals. We have opened our booking for Manaslu Circuit Trek in 2022 and 2023. So get yourself a seat before all the fixed departures get booked, or you can also tailor-made Manaslu Circuit Trek.

Upper Mustang Trek

Upper Mustang Trek is a journey to the last lost kingdom of Lo Manthang. Located close to the Tibetan border (share an open border with Tibet), Upper Mustang is a fantastic journey unlike anywhere else in the Himalayas. Everything about Upper Mustang Trekking is unique, whether it is views, experience, locals, or terrain.

First thing first, Upper Mustang is a restricted area of Nepal, and the government issues only a handful of permits every year to control tourist flow in the region. So, you have to book the trek early to get the permit. Mind it, you cannot trek alone in this region or get the permit on your own or with the help of a freelance guide. Only a trekking company can help you with the permit, and there have to be two trekkers in the group (not including the guide/porters).

The Upper Mustang Trekking route has a constant gain in elevation. You will be crossing many passes and spend nights in the lower elevation throughout the trek, which will help you in acclimatization. The isolation of the region and underdeveloped tourist infrastructure make the trek strenuous. As the Upper Mustang is located in the trans-Himalayan region, you can trek here in the monsoon season. The region receives almost no rain.

The views are desert-like. You will be exploring canyons, gorges, and caves. Likewise, you will visit ancient monasteries and get to see the tradition of the locals that is highly influenced by the Tibetans. The trail goes through fine villages, narrow pathways, and lovely apple orchards. Overall, Upper Mustang Trek is the best pick in the Himalayas for trekking.
