Best time to go

The perfect time to go for the meditation and yoga retreat Nepal 2024 depends on your preferences, crowd levels and special events. Aligning your weather preferences with the less-crowded paths and seasons and the special events or festivals can be the best way to make your journey truly worth it and memorable.

In addition, weather-wise, the best time to go for meditation and yoga retreats are in the autumn and spring. Although these are peak seasons, the atmosphere is peaceful, weather conditions are stable, skies are clear and there is also no frequent rainfall during these seasons.

But the best season does not mean that you cannot enjoy the tour in the other seasons. The other seasons, like winter and monsoon season, also have their own advantages. As most of the Yoga Retreat and Meditation Tour Itinerary include scenic drives, the cold or heavy rainfall are no longer a problem in this journey.

The afternoon outdoor sessions can be conducted during the winter days, as the mornings are cold and foggy. While the indoor sessions are available during the monsoon season,.

Difficulty of the tour

As most of the days in the Yoga Retreat and Meditation Tour itinerary include scenic drives, with only a portion of the days planned for the hikes, the overall tour is easy to moderately difficult. It is planned so that you can enjoy the relaxation tour and practice yoga and meditation fully.

The hike portions include walking on the stone-paved hiking trails with some steep ascents. The total distance is just 4.5 km from Kande to Australian camp and the elevation gain is just 290 m. So, the hike is manageable by most of the trekkers.

Costs and Extra Expenses

When planning for the meditation and yoga tour, you have to be very conscious about the extra expenses and overall costs. You must know about the upfront costs that the package cost covers. So that you can plan your potential extra expenses.

Accommodations, meals, transportation within Nepal, guided tours, yoga sessions, and meditation activities are included in the tour package costs. You can choose the standard of the services and amenities but the prices may increase.

Besides it, the additional costs include international flights to Nepal, travel insurance, optional activities, personal spending, snacks, souvenirs, tips, and so on. So, budgeting is the key to avoiding unnecessary problems. Also, carry the local currency to cover the expenses in those places where cards are not allowed.

Permits and Passes

The permits and passes required for the tour are the Trekkers' Information Management System (TIMS) card, the Annapurna Conservation Area Project (ACAP) permit, and some permits to visit some cultural sites.

  • The TIMS card is important since the tour includes hiking to Australian camp. It can be obtained in the nepal tourism board office in kathmandu or pokhara. For this permit, you will need a registered trekking agency to obtain it.
  • The ACAP permit is needed when you are entering into the Annapurna Conservation Area. You can obtain this permit at the Nepal Tourism Board office in Kathmandu or Pokhara, at the entry point of the conservation area.
  • Small entry permits to the specific cultural sites may be required. This permit can be obtained at the gate of the site.

Luxury Yoga Retreat Nepal

It is the new plan to make the normal itinerary into a luxury one. If you want to have luxury experiences during this tour, we can plan for you. Choosing luxury will give you 5-star accommodations with luxurious bedding, personalized attention, and a variety of food items with gourmet dining options.

In Addition, the yoga and meditation sessions will be held into small, group classes in serene settings. Also, you can enjoy the luxurious spa with a range of massages, ayurvedic rituals and meditation-focused sessions.
