Drive from Kathmandu to Nagarkot

We will pick you from your hotel early in the morning, at around 4:30 AM for the drive to the Nagarkot hillpoint. It will take approximately 1.5 hours to reach the hill station. The total journey we will cover is 27 km. We will drive through the bustling streets of Kathmandu to the remote villages with lush green hills and terraced farmlands. 

The roads are a mix of paved and uneven parts. As we ascend through the hills, you will notice the change in landscape to more greenery and scenic views. As we approach Nagarkot, the roads become narrower, but the views of the surrounding hills and valleys become closer. 

Sightseeing in Nagarkot

After arriving at the hilltop of Nagarkot, we will get to see the first light of dawn illuminating the mountains. The sunrise time may be different according to the different seasons. The mountain views include those of Mount Everest, Langtang, Jugal, Rolwaling, Manaslu, Number, Ganesh, and Annapurna.
