Pickup from Hotel and Drive to National Park Gate

We will pick you up from your hotel early in the morning and drive to the Shivapuri Nagarjun National Park Gate. The route goes through picturesque landscapes, including bustling streets and serene rural views. It takes around an hour to reach the park gate. 

Start hiking to Nagi Gompa

After our arrival at the national park gate, we will begin our trekking journey. The route goes through lush green forests. On the way, you will get to see the beautiful village life and occasional glimpse of the Kathmandu valley. It is a 1.5-hour hike.

Explore Nagi Gompa

Upon reaching Nagi Gompa, we will explore the serene Buddhist monastery named Nagi Gompa. The environment of the monastery is peaceful. You may see the monks performing their daily rituals. Take a moment to see the tranquil monastery grounds with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and distant mountains. 

Continue hiking to Shivapuri Hilltop

We will resume our hike to Shivapuuri Hilltop after exploring the Nagi Gompa. The trail goes through steeper sections with refreshing climbs. You can rest along the way if needed. It is a 2-hour hike. You will get to see the views of the Kathmandu Valley, along with terraced fields and distant snowcapped landscapes. 

Lunch Break at Shivapuri Hill Top

Descend to the exit gate.

Drive back to Kathmandu
