You will land at the Tribhuvan International Airport, where one of our representatives will welcome you. He will take you to the hotel and help you settle in. There's nothing much planned for the day, so take your time and relax. Spend the evening exploring the streets of Thamel. Later, join a welcome dinner organized by the company and meet with other team members.

After having breakfast, you will meet with the tour guide today. He will quickly brief you about the places and the activities the tour involves. The guided tour begins from Swayambhunath, also known as the Monkey Temple. Located at a hilltop, this monument offers a beautiful view of Kathmandu. From here, you will drive to the holy Pashupatinath Temple, a huge Hindu temple. At the back of the temple is the sacred Bagmati river. Locals here also do cremation rituals. 

Further, the tour leads to the largest stupa in Nepal, Boudhnath Stupa. The vibe around this monument is divine and soothing. And the last monument you will visit today is Kathmandu Durbar Square, an old royal residence. The durbar square is a famous spot among locals and tourists. You will explore palaces, courtyards, museums, shrines, and temples.

Time to leave for a famous place in Nepal, Chitwan. This place is very famous for wilderness retreats. From Lumbini, it takes approximately 4 to 5 hours to drive and reach Chitwan. Spend the rest half of the day exploring around the hotel. In the evening, you will visit an indigenous village where you will get introduced to Tharu culture and tradition. You will get welcome with their intriguing stick dance, traditional attires, and smiling faces.

Wake up early in the morning if you want to catch a gorgeous sunrise from the shore of a river. After breakfast, you will visit Chitwan National Park. The first activity you will do here is Elephant or Jeep safari. During the safari, you will go deep into the forest and get to see wildlife like one-horned rhino, Bengal tiger, deer, wild boar, pheasants, peacock, etc. 

Likewise, you may also get to see exotic birds. Later, you will be part of the elephant bathing. If you want to be more adventurous, then go canoeing. Visit crocodile and elephant breeding centers.

Before leaving for Pokhara, you can go bird-watching. It will be a peaceful walk in the jungle. Later, have breakfast and get ready to drive to Pokhara. The drive will be fantastic. Today, you will wake up early in the morning and drive to Sarangkot. It is a popular place for paragliding and offers a beautiful view of Pokhara and the surrounding mountains. If you want to do paragliding, let us know in advance, and we will arrange it for you (additional charges apply). 

After lunch, you will visit other places like Davis Falls, Bat Cave, Gupteshwor Cave, etc. Likewise, there are many attractive lakes situated around Pokhara, where you can visit. In the evening, witness sunset at Phewa Lake and end the day with a delicious dinner.

Another long scenic drive and you will get back to Kathmandu. You can enjoy the reading day as per your wish. We recommend you to visit the Garden of Dream located in Thamel. Kathmandu

The Kathmandu Chitwan Lumbini Pokhara Tour begins from Kathmandu. During the tour, you will visit different UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The tour involves guided sightseeing of Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple), Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Kathmandu Durbar Square. You will explore the bustling streets of Thamel and the local market. 

Chitwan

Now, it's time to escape in the wilderness of Chitwan National Park. Lots of tourists visit this place to have nerve-racking encounters with wildlife. Here, you will go on Jeep/Elephant Safari into the deep jungle to see wildlife like one-horned rhino, Bengal tiger, deer, bear, wild boar, peacock, and other birds. Similarly, you will visit elephant and crocodile breeding centers. Take a bath with elephants and go canoeing. You will also visit an indigenous Tharu village. Pokhara

Difficulty level

The Kathmandu Chitwan & Pokhara Tour 11 Days do not involve any difficulty walking. You will be driving from one place to another most of the time. You do have to walk a lot while exploring the monuments. Likewise, the hike to Dhampus can get a little tiring because you will walk on a sloppy path, but it's doable. There is no need for any previous hiking experience. Anyone can do a Dhampus hike.

Accommodation and Food

During the Kathmandu Chitwan & Pokhara Tour, you will stay overnight in three-star hotels or nice tourist standard hotels. The hotels are equipped with all modern amenities and a good WiFi connection. The Kathmandu Chitwan & Pokhara Tour package involves twin-sharing rooms, but if you want a single, then we can arrange that for you. The washroom will be clean and attached to the room.

For meals, you will get breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can find cuisine from all around the world in all the cities. We do recommend you to taste Nepali dishes too and enjoy authentic Nepali food as much as you can.
