Overview

Nepal and Tibet Tour combines sightseeing with adventure and wildlife activities. This 14-day journey begins in Kathmandu with visits to several UNESCO World Heritage Sites in the valley. Next, fly to Lhasa and tour the Potala Palace, several dzongs (fortresses), and impressive monasteries. Drive to several Tibetan towns like Shigatse, Shegar, and Rongbuk and continue sightseeing activities. Visit the Everest base camp and admire the grandeur of the mighty Everest, the tallest mountain on Earth. Drive back to Rongbuk and visit the world’s highest monastery. Enjoy an overland trip to The Last Resort in Nepal and take part in canyoning followed by rafting in the raging Bhotekoshi River. Continue drive to Chitwan National Park and conclude the Nepal and Tibet Tour with a jungle safari in the steamy jungles of the national park.

Every effort will be made to keep to the above itinerary; however, since this adventure entails traveling in high altitude remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not slew from it. Weather conditions, the health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to secure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
