Born and raised in the village of Phulkharka in Dhading District, Nepal, Gokarna Karki, better known as Akash, began his journey in tourism at a remarkably young age. At just 15, he started working as a porter, taking his first steps into the world of trekking and adventure tourism.
Growing up surrounded by nature, Akash developed a strong connection with the mountains and a passion for adventure. He completed his schooling in his home village before moving to Kathmandu for higher education.
Over the years, Akash worked his way from porter to experienced trekking guide and eventually became a travel entrepreneur. His hands-on experience in the tourism industry gave him a deep understanding of trekking, guiding, travel operations, and what makes a journey truly memorable. This experience eventually led him to establish Mystic Adventure Holidays.
Akash’s passion for travel has taken him around the world, allowing him to experience different cultures, destinations, and ways of travelling. These experiences have broadened his perspective and continue to shape the journeys he creates for others.
His love for the mountains, nature, and adventure inspires his vision of building a global community of travellers where people can explore together, share their stories, build friendships, and create lasting memories.
