Born in a mountainous part of Dhading, Suman Karki is a mountain boy who loves nature and the Himalayas. He is originally from the Gangajumuna of Dhading, which is elevated at a height of 1300 meters above sea level. His continuous work as a guide has made him one of the most popular players in Nepal’s adventurous tourism sector. He is very familiar with the untamed and strenuous parts of the Himalayas. Suman has successfully trekked in the popular Himalayas of Nepal, like Manaslu, Everest Base Camp, Annapurna Base Camp, and the strenuous Annapurna Circuit.
He has been working in the trekking sector for 10 years. At first, he worked as a porter with our company, and after gaining experience and a license, he started working as a guide for our company. His experience over the past ten years has made him a successful solo guide in Nepal. As a guide, Suman not only dedicates his time to the completion of the trek but also helps the travelers by motivating them with previous stories and sharing his struggles and the historical part of the hike. The secure and comfortable way of guiding the journey has captured the hearts of many travelers. He has received his official hiking license from the Department of Tourism in Nepal. Suman is fluent in languages like English and Nepali. He has also passed the first aid training.
